Direct Lay Flooring
Direct lay flooring relies on the conductive properties of the surface material itself, requiring no raised structure, and is laid directly on the ground. Based on the different surface materials, it is generally divided into anti-static ceramic tiles, PVC anti-static flooring, and anti-static floor coatings.
1. Anti-static Ceramic Tiles
Anti-static functional powder is added during the tile firing process for physical modification, resulting in very stable anti-static performance with a resistance value between 10⁶ and 10⁹ ohms. Installation is convenient, and ordinary masons can lay them. Adding aluminum foil or copper foil under the floor can further enhance conductivity.
2. PVC Anti-static Flooring
This uses sheet materials (generally 600×600mm) or rolls for direct laying. Installation is fast (but requires professional installers; otherwise, arching and blistering may occur). The anti-static performance is relatively stable, but it is prone to aging and has slightly poorer stain resistance.
3. Anti-static Floor Coatings
a. Excellent and long-lasting anti-static effect, unaffected by time, temperature, or humidity;
b. Made of solvent-free high-grade epoxy resin and high-quality curing agent;
c. Smooth, beautiful surface, moisture-proof, achieving a mirror-like effect;
d. Resistant to acid, alkali, salt, and oil corrosion, especially good resistance to strong alkalis;
e. Wear-resistant, pressure-resistant, impact-resistant, and has a certain degree of elasticity.

Raised Access Flooring
Raised access flooring, also known as modular flooring, is a new type of raised decorative flooring assembled from various specifications, models, and materials of panel blocks, beams, and adjustable supports. The height between the floor and the building (ground) base is generally 150-250mm. Various pipelines can be laid in the raised space.
Anti-static raised access flooring is generally classified according to the base material and facing material. Base materials include steel base, aluminum base, composite base, particleboard base (wood base), calcium sulfate base, etc. Facing materials include anti-static ceramic tiles, melamine (HPL), PVC, etc. There are also anti-static plastic flooring and OA network flooring. The types of anti-static flooring include: all-steel anti-static flooring (including all-steel edgeless anti-static flooring, cleanroom all-steel anti-static flooring, protective edgeless anti-static flooring, ceramic-faced anti-static flooring - metal composite raised access flooring, and all-steel anti-static ventilated panels); aluminum alloy anti-static flooring (including aluminum alloy anti-static ventilated panels, aluminum alloy grating panels, and aluminum alloy blind panels); composite anti-static flooring (including reinforced composite anti-static flooring and anti-static ceramic steel-based composite raised access flooring); and PVC anti-static flooring (including direct-laid permanent PVC anti-static flooring and permanent PVC anti-static flooring). OA network flooring commonly uses all-steel OA network flooring.
